Hello, my name is Jack Train and I am a family dentist with special interest in crown and bridge, periodontology and dentistry for brass musicians. I have practiced in Scarborough for more than 35 years and I have been here at the Consilium Place since 1984. I am also a professional musician and trumpet player and have lectured at Humber College, York University and University of Toronto on “Dentistry and the Brass Musician.” Presently, I am teaching the senior students at the University of Toronto’s faculty of dentistry in the senior clinic with a focus on restorative dentistry and crown and bridge.
My memberships include AGD, ODA, American Academy of Periodontics, Crown and Bridge Study Club, Alpha Omega Dental Society, Toronto East Dental Society and Monterey Bay (California Dental Society). I am a Dental Consultant to AFM in New York, Toronto and Chicago, ITG, TMA, and RCDS. My published articles can be found in Canadian Musician, Allegro, Crescendo and International Musician.
My personal interests include spending time with my family, fitness, skiing in Colorado and vacationing at my cottage in Muskoka. I am happily married to Andrea and we have two daughters, two sons, seven grandchildren and three grand-dogs.
